The success of the original TIME product has resulted in the development of three new smaller versions that allow TIME products to be used in a wider variety of applications. Unlike the original TIME speakers, the vertical angle is set at a fixed 45 degrees and the rotation of the drivers is done manually during installation and set-up by the installer. Each model features up to 340 degrees of rotation assuring that virtually any location can be targeted. Once adjustments have been made, the system simply descends from and retracts into the ceiling when desired. The automation can be triggered by signal sensing, contact closure, or IR command, depending on your preference. When fully retracted only a solid flat surface is seen. This flat surface can be easily painted allowing the system to blend seamless into a room when not in use.

Unique in concept and revolutionary in design, the Theatre In Motion Experience (TIME) is the most recent development of the ceiling speaker design.

When retracted and not in use, these speakers lie flush with the under surface of the ceiling. Then activated (via the Controller, available separately) by infra-red, signal sensing, RS232, or contact closure (trigger), they drop down to a 15º, 30º, or 45º angle and then rotate up to 285º to aim sound toward any position in the room. Using three individual presets for each speaker, the system can be used in multiple music and home cinema situations, with varying seating positions. The speakers return to their original position, flush with the under-surface of the ceiling, when the system is turned off.

Using advanced micro-motor technology, the operation of the speakers is whisper quiet.

This makes the TIME speaker both an In-Ceiling and In-Room loudspeaker in the same ingenious package.
