Polk Audio have launched a new range of weather proof Atrium loudspeakers, offering the ultimate in flexibility, reliability and high fidelity sound quality for any outdoor space. They give you the freedom to put speakers anywhere you want high performance sound.

The model numbers convey a very simple performance rule of thumb to make it easy for you: As the model number increases, the loudspeaker's ability to create more coverage in a given space increases. The larger the Atrium model number, the larger the diameter of the bass driver, the more bass that particular loudspeaker can produce and the more power it can handle.

The Atrium 8 SDI is the flagship of the new Atrium line. Due to it’s Patented single/dual switch and dual tweeter array the Atrium 8 SDI is perfect for use either as a single high performance stereo speaker, or as one of a high performance left-right pair. The Atrium 8’s compact size makes it ideal for tight, out-of-way installations. It can be used practically anywhere due to its military spec waterproofing features. This make it ideal for use by the pool, around the kitchen or in the garden. The Atrium 8 SDI is built to deliver years of great performance in all seasons.

The new Speed-Lock™ Mounting System has been designed for easy and safe one-handed installations even in difficult locations. Simply mount the bracket and click the speaker into place. Aim it and tighten it, and the job is done. The new bracket also has a 45-degree down angle, designed to let you install the speaker at that angle permanently.
